Monte Carlo Carbon
For those out there that own a Ferrari 458 Italia and want the look of a Ferrari 458 Speciale without having to go out and spend several hundred thousands more on a Speciale can achieve the look of the upgraded supercar at a fraction of the price. German tuning house DMC has released the Monte Carlo Carbon Edition. This upgrade kit features carbon fiber body parts such as the front bumper winglets, side skirt blades and fender vents. The visual impact is exaggerated by blacked out headlights and racing stripes down the middle of the car.
The installation kit is non-intrusive since DMC’s aftermarket components are designed to fit onto factory mounting points. For a little extra cash, DMC will swap out the wheels on the 458 for the 21-inch front and 22-inch rear stance that is found on the Ferrari 458 Speciale.
One downside to this setup is that all the upgrades are cosmetic with nothing being done to boost the horsepower of the donor car. So while the real deal 458 Speciale puts down 605hp, the DMC Monte Carlo Carbon continues to deliver a still respectable 570hp.
