When looking to post something special for the 4th of July, I happen to come across this wonderful shot of a Ferrari F430 dressed out in the American flag. Upon closer inspection, this appears to be a paint scheme and not a wrap. This photo just seemed so appropriate to post; the pic comes to us courtesy of complex.com. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY and be safe!
Even though the German tuning program DMC may be best known for their work on Lamborghini Adventador projects, they have proven once again that they are capable of handling any Italian supercar.
DMC originally rose to fame by being the first to customize the Aventador with their Molto Veloce kit, and now they are looking to do the same by offering a complete re-design for the Ferrari F430. The project is called Carbonio, and will include a hefty dose of carbon fiber to dress up the F430, bringing the overall design closer to the styling used on the Scuderia.
As this project is far from complete, the pictures released by DMC are only a tease of what to expect. From these photos we can draw clues, such as the entire front end being wrapped in carbon fiber including the front lip that has been named “the Sword.” No word yet on when the project will be complete or what else will be done. Regardless of what comes next, DMC has definitely chosen the perfect car for this edition and we look forward to what comes next.
Two children aged 9 and 11 were seen driving around India in a Ferrari F430. As it turns out, the Ferrari belonged to the 9 year old driver’s father who not only gave the children permission to drive the Ferrari F430 on a public street; he filmed the event and posted it on YouTube!
Obviously video of children barley tall enough to reach the pedals while driving one of the world’s most amazing supercars was a hit with social media and critics alike. The public backlash from such a foolish idea has led to the arrest of the father Mohammed Nishan. The Times of India reported the video sparked “widespread outrage” prompting the police in Kerala to arrest the father. Nisham was charged with encouraging underage driving and allowing an unlicensed minor to drive the vehicle.
